Solar Sparkler Sangria
A non-alcoholic celebration sangria that captures all the joy and abundance of Leo season through warming spices and golden fruits. Perfect for inclusive gatherings where everyone can participate in the Leo spirit of generous hospitality.
Ingredients (Serves 6-8)
32 oz fresh apple juice (unfiltered preferred)
16 oz fresh orange juice
8 oz fresh lemon juice
6 oz cinnamon simple syrup*
2 oz vanilla extract
16 oz ginger ale
2 apples, sliced
2 oranges, sliced into wheels
1 lemon, sliced into wheels
3 cinnamon sticks
Fresh mint sprigs
16 oz sparkling water (added when serving)
Cinnamon Simple Syrup:
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
4 cinnamon sticks
Instructions
Prepare cinnamon syrup: Combine sugar, water, and cinnamon sticks in a saucepan. Simmer for 10 minutes, let cool, strain, and bottle.
In a large pitcher, combine apple juice, orange juice, lemon juice, cinnamon syrup, and vanilla extract.
Add sliced fruits, cinnamon sticks, and mint sprigs.
Refrigerate for at least 3 hours to allow flavors to develop.
When serving, add ginger ale and sparkling water, stir gently.
Serve over ice in wine glasses with plenty of fruit.
Notes
Unfiltered apple juice provides richer flavor and golden color
Can be made up to 24 hours ahead (add carbonated elements when serving)
Cinnamon syrup keeps refrigerated for up to 3 weeks
Adjust sweetness with additional cinnamon syrup if desired
