A mesmerizing gin cocktail that showcases Empress Gin's natural color-changing magic alongside the floral elegance of lavender. Fresh blackberries and lemon create bright acidity while the egg white adds luxurious texture. Ingredients
2 oz Empress Gin
0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
0.5 oz lavender simple syrup*
2-3 fresh blackberries
1 egg white
Dried lavender sprig for garnish
*Lavender Simple Syrup:
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
2 tablespoons dried culinary lavender
Instructions
Prepare lavender syrup: Combine sugar, water, and lavender in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, then simmer for 5 minutes. Let cool completely, strain out lavender, and bottle.
In a shaker, muddle blackberries gently to release juices.
Add Empress Gin, lemon juice, lavender syrup, and egg white.
Dry shake (without ice) vigorously for 15 seconds.
Add ice and shake again vigorously for 10-15 seconds.
Double strain into a chilled coupe glass.
Garnish with a dried lavender sprig.
