Ingredients
2 oz gin
0.75 oz lavender simple syrup*
0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
0.5 oz crème de violette
Fresh lavender sprig for garnish
*Lavender Simple Syrup:
1 cup sugar
1 cup water
3 tablespoons dried culinary lavender
Instructions
Prepare lavender syrup: Combine sugar, water, and lavender in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes. Let cool completely, strain, and bottle.
In a shaker, combine gin, lavender syrup, lemon juice, and crème de violette.
Add ice and shake vigorously for 10-15 seconds.
Double strain into a chilled coupe glass.
Garnish with a fresh lavender sprig.
