Garden of Dreams

A botanical-forward cocktail that captures the essence of an enchanted spring garden. Kumquat-infused gin provides a citrusy base, while fresh mint and rosemary create layers of aromatic complexity. The addition of white vermouth and orange blossom water adds delicate floral notes that transport you to a mystical garden at dawn.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz kumquat-infused gin*

  • 0.75 oz fresh mint syrup**

  • 0.5 oz white vermouth

  • 2 drops orange blossom water

  • Rosemary mist***

  • Edible flowers and fresh herbs for garnish

*Kumquat-Infused Gin:

  • 1 bottle gin

  • 8-10 fresh kumquats, halved

  • Let infuse for 24 hours, strain and bottle

**Fresh Mint Syrup:

  • 1 cup water

  • 1 cup sugar

  • 1 large bunch fresh mint

  • Gently muddle mint, combine with hot syrup, steep 20 minutes

***Rosemary Mist:

  • 2 oz high-proof neutral spirit

  • 2 sprigs fresh rosemary

  • Combine in a small spray bottle

Instructions

  1. In a mixing glass, combine kumquat-infused gin, fresh mint syrup, and white vermouth.

  2. Add ice and stir for 30 seconds until well-chilled.

  3. Add 2 drops of orange blossom water to a chilled coupe glass.

  4. Strain the cocktail into the prepared glass.

  5. Spray rosemary mist over the surface of the drink.

  6. Garnish with seasonal edible flowers and fresh herbs.

Notes

  • Infused gin will keep indefinitely

  • Mint syrup will keep refrigerated for up to 1 week

  • Rosemary mist will keep for several weeks

  • Orange blossom water is potent - use sparingly

  • Best served in a coupe glass

  • For a less sweet version, reduce mint syrup to 0.5 oz
