Star Seeker
A shimmering holiday cocktail celebrating celestial wonder
A celestial-inspired cocktail that captures Sagittarius season's reach toward the infinite through visual drama and refined flavors. The shimmering dust creates an ethereal effect while vodka provides a clean canvas for white cranberry's subtle tartness and rosemary prosecco syrup's herbaceous effervescence. The floating star anise pod adds both aromatic complexity and celestial symbolism. This festive adaptation transforms simple ingredients into liquid starlight perfect for winter celebrations.

Instructions

In a champagne flute, add vodka, white cranberry juice, and rosemary prosecco syrup.
Add shimmer dust carefully using a dropper or small spoon.
Stir gently with bar spoon to distribute shimmer.
Float star anise pod on surface.
Serve immediately while shimmer is suspended and most dramatic.
Notes
Rosemary prosecco syrup keeps refrigerated for up to 1 week
Use only edible-grade shimmer dust designed for beverages
White cranberry juice provides clarity needed for optimal shimmer effect
Fresh rosemary essential for syrup - dried herbs won't provide same flavor
Serve immediately as shimmer settles over time
The star anise releases subtle licorice notes that complement rosemary's piney character
Pairs well with: Holiday appetizers, oysters, or as a dramatic opening cocktail for winter celebrations and stargazing gatherings.
