Meyer Lemon Fizz

A bright and elegant take on the classic French 75, featuring honey's warming sweetness and fresh citrus. This effervescent cocktail marries gin's botanical notes with the bright acidity of fresh lemon juice, all crowned with a celebratory splash of prosecco. Perfect for winter entertaining or toasting special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 oz gin

  • 1 oz fresh lemon juice

  • 0.5 oz honey syrup

  • 2 oz prosecco

  • Lemon twist and edible flower for garnish

  1. For Honey Syrup

    • 1 cup honey

    • ½ cup hot water

  2. Instructions

    1. Make honey syrup:

      • Combine honey and hot water

      • Stir until dissolved

      • Cool before using

    2. Fill shaker with ice

    3. Add:

      • Gin

      • Fresh lemon juice

      • Honey syrup

    4. Shake vigorously for 10-12 seconds

    5. Double strain into champagne flute

    6. Top with prosecco

    7. Garnish with lemon twist and edible flower
