A fiery interpretation of the margarita that showcases jalapeño's distinctive heat balanced against the bright acidity of lime and the natural sweetness of agave. The salt rim, infused with pink Himalayan salt, provides a subtle mineral complexity that grounds the drink while highlighting the vibrant, building heat. This cocktail embodies the passionate intensity of Aries while maintaining remarkable balance.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz tequila blanco

  • ¾ oz fresh lime juice

  • ½ oz agave syrup

  • 3 slices jalapeño (seeds included for extra heat)

  • Pink Himalayan salt for rim

  • Lime wheel and jalapeño slice for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare a rocks glass by running a lime wedge around the rim and dipping in pink Himalayan salt.

  2. In a shaker, gently muddle the jalapeño slices to release their oils and heat.

  3. Add tequila, fresh lime juice, and agave syrup to the shaker.

  4. Fill with ice and shake vigorously for 15 seconds until well-chilled.

  5. Double-strain into the prepared rocks glass over fresh ice to remove jalapeño pieces.

  6. Garnish with a thin slice of jalapeño and a lime wheel.
